ICMS Team

The journey of ICMS started in the pre pandemic years with a few like minded healthcare professionals from diverse specialities and geographic regions coming together with a common goal to form a robust community network for a sustainable and impactful community outreach. During Covid pandemic, the significance of such a network and the resolution to establish an organization to support this network grew stronger. This passion led to the inception of multiple community reunions across multiple states including the most recent IKONFERENCE 2022 in Visakhapatnam that ultimately unified many like minded health care warriors of covid pandemic to establish the International Community for Medicine and Science (ICMS) Trust, a not for profit community healthcare organization on March 20 2024 with dedicated board of advisors, trust members and permanent donor members all working towards a common goal, community health care advancement.

Driven by the conviction that quality healthcare demands a sustainable financial support structure and dedicated team to carry out impactful programs, a team of compassionate and community supportive physicians, surgeons and health care affiliates set out on a simple yet audacious journey to raise a corpus fund, from 100 dedicated donor members, that would support the ICMS Community Outreach and Student welfare programs by putting needs before profit and reinvesting all surplus into services that would directly address the shortfalls. Till date we have 78 dedicated permanent donor members of ICMS who came forward to be part of this journey that enabled us to start two major initiatives 1. R.E.A.C.H - Regional Empowerment and Community Health care : which aims to connect a team of highly compassionate health care providers directly to the communities and ensure delivery of cost effective and evidence based medical care to all. 2. M.E.R.I.T - Medical Research & Innovation program : that aims to support medical students, budding doctors and medical entrepreneurs in advancing their academic, career goals and provide opportunities for research & innovation in healthcare through scholarships, mentorships and Internships.

Team ICMS is set out on this journey to establish a premier academic center for excellence in health care  that will be dedicated to our community and our country.
