Under the leadership of an experienced senior ICMS member, the ICMS Student Education Program (ISEP) is supported by a five-member team tasked with securing funding for the program and identifying student beneficiaries for the year 2008. The connectivity program of ICMS will be managed by Regional Vice Presidents representing ten regions in the U.S. (Northeast, Southeast, North, Central, South, and West), assisted by State Coordinators from each state and City Coordinators in major cities with significant Telugu populations, such as the Bay Area, Dallas, Washington D.C., and New York City. This structure will help ICMS’s membership address their needs effectively.
A dedicated website will serve as a comprehensive resource for ICMS members, offering a variety of information beneficial to the community. A team of enthusiastic ICMS members will manage the day-to-day activities of this website under the leadership of a community ICMS member. The website is designed to facilitate communication between the executive community and the membership, featuring contact information for members serving the in-country network in different cities across the U.S. Additionally, there will be a dedicated space for open discussions on constructive topics. The website team is working diligently to launch it by May 15, 2015.
ICMS also plans to establish a unique program to recognize talents in various fields within the Telugu community. The organization aims to institute several “International Awards” for members of the Telugu community who have achieved distinguished accomplishments in specialized fields. These awards will be named in honor of current and past eminent personalities from the Telugu community.
To further enrich its membership with valuable insights, ICMS has organized discussion groups under the headings of “Students Forum,” “Women Forum,” “Business Executives Forum,” “Legal Forum,” “Medical Forum,” and “Professionals Forum.” ICMS offers various membership types, including Donor Members (contributors of $1,000 and above), Life Members, Annual Members, and Student Members. There are also plans to publish an annual directory of members, which will be distributed to enhance connectivity within ICMS.
Lastly, it is important to note that ICMS draws its strength from its vibrant and youthful membership, with an average age of 30 years. With this dynamic foundation, ICMS is poised to achieve its growth targets and become one of the leading organizations serving the Telugu community in the U.S. ICMS aims to provide a stylish and effective platform for its members, ensuring the best inbuilt connectivity while they navigate life in America.
One final word: ICMS wishes to see all its members well-connected through friendship and emotional integration. Now it is your turn to join this great organization and contribute to the mutual support of the blessed Telugu community in the U.S.
Thank you all,
ICMS Executive Community
